Kilmacud Crokes is saddened to learn of the death of Charlie Farrell. Charlie was a long time member of the club, whose father Bill was Chairman of Benburbs Football club, when they merged with Kilmacud Crokes in 1972. Charlie was a gentleman of the highest order and along with being a successful player with Benburbs, was selector on the Kilmacud senior football team for several years, winning a Dublin league and Garda Guinness title for the club. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam Dílis.  We send our condolenecs and heartfelt sympathies to all Charlie's family at this sad time 

The death has occurred of Charlie Farrell, Kinnegad formerly of Mulvey Park, Dundrum and Churchtown, Dublin. He died peacefully in the exceptional care of Sancta Maria nursing home, Kinnegad surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 60 years to Breda, father of Angela, Bernadette, Garrett, Barry and Lana, daughter-in-law Anna, sons-in-law Martin, Jeff and Tony, adored grandad to Sinead, Joe, Roisin, Jake, Georgia, Jamie, Ciara, Sean, Cian, Shane, and Frankie, great-grandad to Ellie, Toby and Charlie, sister Ann, brothers Noel, Dan, Tommy and the late Peter, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Charlie rest in peace.
