Florida State University American College Football Team Visit Kilmacud Crokes
On Saturday August 24th, Florida State University played against Georgia Tech at the Aviva Stadium. This marks a historic occasion as it was the first time that Florida State University, known as the Seminoles, played a game in Ireland. Unfortunately Florida State lost the game narrowly on a score of 24pts to 21. On Friday ahead of the game, Florida State paid a visit to Kilmacud Crokes. The team spent over 2 hours at the club doing drills with a contingent of our young players boys and girls. The atmosphere was fantastic and the players and team staff were very generous with their time. They even took some time to develop their hurling skills. Well done to our Club coach Niall Corcoran who organized the event from the club side. Thanks also to all our young players and club coaches who supported the event. A BIG Thank You also to Eamon O' Callaghan for recording the event with some fantastic photo's
