Hurling Section Raceday 2024 - Another great success!

It was another fantastic occasion in Punchestown for the 2024 Kilmacud Crokes Hurling Section Race Day.

Despite the early rain and foreboding clouds, several coachloads of club members, friends and sponsors headed off to the Kildare venue for what turned out to be a great day's racing. And that was only half the story! More than 65 full tables of guests enjoyed a wonderful meal, great expert tips for all the races, fantastic raffle prizes and a very competitive auction. Better still, the rain had cleared away by the time the first race got under way and punters were able to enjoy the dedicated outside area in front of the private Kilmacud Crokes Hurling Pavilion.

As usual, there was much interest in the prized "Best dressed" Lady and Gentleman, although the winning gent was a little too shy to come to the stage to accept his prize!
