KC Choir is out for the Summer....

Kilmacud Crokes Choir , under the direction of Shane Barriscale had its most successful year yet, welcoming new members in all sections of the choir - alto, bass, tenor and soprano.

Hard work, with plenty of fun along the way, saw the choir compete against choirs from across Irleand  for the second time in the  AIMS Choral Festival in New Ross. Improving on last year's performance the choir was praised for 'beautifully controlled, lovely ensemble singing'.  

The reputation of the choir continues to grow beyond our club and the choir has already been asked to perform in two charity concerts next December.  Preparations will begin when the choir returns in September after a well earned summer break.  New members wishing to join can contact Mary Whitely on 087 3782465
