Kilmacud Community Men's Shed Local Grand House sites and river walk, Monday 15th July

A Group of KCMS members completed a Local Grand House sites and river walk, Monday 15th July.  Walk started from Glenalbyn at 10.30.

 Walk past Kilmacud House, Redesdale, Parsons Green, Old gate lodge for St Raphaels and Clonmore, Lakelands, Hazel Wood and nearby Woodley Park. 

They returned  by following , as best they could by  the Lakelands stream from the lake to Glenalbyn. Distance, less than 3 miles, 1 ½ hours walking time. 

The group swapped any  particular childhood memories of any of the properties on the walk. Lots of detail about the houses on youwho.ie. Well done to Brian Hollinshead who organised the outing.
