He has been involved in coaching and mentoring teams  at various different levels in the club. He has been a support driver for the KCwheelers contingent in a number of the M2M charity cycles. He has worked tirelessly at the Football 7's tournaments over many years.  Most recently, he has become one of our most active members in the Kilmacud Community Men's Shed. Mick is the epitome of  volunteerism and is always there to lend a hand.

When asked about this most recent Dublin City Marathon,  Mick said he really enjoyed it. He had a good summer of training with  his club Brothers Pearse, so had lots of stamina and strength. Conditions for most of the race were ideal, cool and calm. with some heavy showers towards the end. He said the support from the large crowds along the course was amazing.

When recalling all the Dublin City Marathons he has completed, he points to the Best year being 2019 for the 40th. Having his daughter Aoife and son Chris  running  with him  was special. Mick's advice advice to anybody that wants to run a marathon or to improve their time is to  join a running club. You will get lots of help and you will improve by running with others.
