Pairc De Burca Pitch Development Update

As members are likely aware, the development program for Pairc De Burca has a requirement to complete further work on the drainage of the pitch. This week, a contractor has been on site to complete this work.   The work will be completed this week ahead of the weekend.  In an ideal world, the pitch would require some more down-time to allow this "Slitting" work bed in, but this is not possible with weekend games needing the facility and the Mini's due to start next Monday.  The hope is, that the current good growing conditions will mitigate any impact.   The club owes a debt of thanks to the volunteer group who give up their time to manage the club's pitches and walk a thin line in balancing the need for use versus protecting the surfaces.
