 Kilmacud Crokes was saddened to hear of the death of Anne (Nancy) McCarthy,  Mother of John McCarthy, Junior Football stalwart 

This morning will see the funeral of Roscommon native and Mother of local Teacher John McCarthy. Gaelgoir John is perhaps best known for his involvement in Junior Football as both a player and manager.  Visitors to the club bar will be familiar with Nancy's  Grandson, Conor McCarthy who has just returned to College in Dublin and the bar in Glenalbyn after a world tour.
