Leinster Colleges Junior Hurling “A”. (Wed 3 October 2007)

Coláiste Eoin, Booterstown 6 -6 ; Castlecomer C.S. 3 – 9 

This was Coláiste Eoin’s first ever win in hurling in Leinster 'A' competition and a fully deserved victory too. Played at Silver Park, Coláiste Eoin went into a commanding lead early on in the game and succeeded in maintaining their lead inspite of Castlecomer’s best efforts. Having dominated the first half play , Coláiste Eoin missed a number of chances for points but still went in at half-time leading by 4 – 3 to 0 – 4.

Castlecomer goaled on the resumption and brought the game to Coláiste Eoin for much of the second half, scoring 3 – 5, but the home team did enough to record an historic win.
