Senior B's beaten by Na Fianna

AHL2 defeat for Senior B's in Silverpark, despite great Horan goal (see video here!)

The Senior B's suffered defeat at the hands of a tough Na Fianna outfit in Silverpark on Saturday 18 April.

It was a cold but sunny evening as both teams and the attendance paid their respects to Dave Billings (who passed away suddenly during the week) with a minute's silence before the throw-in.

The Mobhi Road outfit looked the hungrier throughout and had gone 5 points clear half way through the first half. Na Fianna continued to dominate after the break, in what was a very physical encounter. Indeed both teams finished with 14 men, as tempers boiled over during a sometimes fractious battle.

Na Fianna finished deserved winners by a margin of 5 points; 0-20 tp 1-12, the Crokes goal coming courtesy of a fine solo effort by Barry Horan (click Play on the image below)
