Two More League Points for Juniors

On Tuesday evening 8th June 2010 the Juniors picked up two more AHL5 points with a 4-13 to 0-10 victory at Silverpark.

A scoring spree in the five minutes leading to half time settled the issue as first Alex Pilkington goaled (his second of the half) and then Jonathon Healy-Hayes repeated the dose from a penalty before pointing a free.  This set Crokes up for a 4-6 to 0-7 half time lead. 

Scores were slow to some in the second half and with five minutes left it was 4-9 to 0-10.  Crokes then added on minors from John Ross Hunt, Eoin Murphy, Brian Sheehan and Hunt again to one in reply from the opposition.  In a game (played 13 a side at the insistence of the visitors) that Crokes dominated shining lights included Aidan McCarthy, Barrai Brennan, and the half forward line of Alex Pilkington, John Ross Hunt and Jonathon Healy-Hayes.
