U11's meet tough parental opposition!

 The Under 11's finished the season on a high when they out-ran, out-manoevred, out-classed and frequently out-witted their weightier opposition in Glenalbyn this afternoon! Playing against a team many times their weight and height, they battled bravely and only narrowly failed to beat their illustrious opposition. Their defeat was in part due to some appalling referreeing decisions, or rather, the lack of them, as the ref didn't actually show up!

The fitness of the Parents' Team was apparent from the off and apparently heavy training had begun many minutes before the match! Strangely, there were no substitutions and thankfully no medical assistance was required during this tough encounter!

The Under 11's might have even won the game, had they been able to contain their frequent lapses into uncontrollable laughter, as they looked on in awe and amazement at the sheer audacity of some of their opponent's more 'unorthodox' moves...
