Upcoming workshop in Glenalbyn - "The Voice of Coach"

Workshop at 8pm on Friday 10 May in Glenalbyn House.

This is a coaching workshop that the Hurling Coaching Committee of Kilmacud Crokes is hosting on Friday night (10th May) in The Function Room Glenalbyn at 8pm.

The title of the workshop is "The Voice of Coach" and will be delivered by Liam Moggan who is the current Performance Coach with Eamon Fitzmaurice & the Kerry Senior Football Team.

Liam has worked with many coaches over the years that includes the likes of Brian Kerr & the Irish Soccer Team, Anthony Daly, Lar Foley & Olympic Bronze Medalist Cian O'Connor to name but a few.  Liam will give us an insight about the lessons he has picked up from working with various coaches over the years, and how these lessons can be applied not only at the elite levels but right down to CCC2 & Go Games level.

Liam has also been involved with Coaching Ireland since 1991 when a Coach Education Development Team was set up to examine coach eduation world wide and help devise and implement a programme suitable for Ireland.  Liam also helps to plan & deliver the Tutor Development Programmes.

Liam has an interest in all sports, is a former middle distance athlete and is actively involved as a coach in a range of individual and team sports.  Prior to this role Liam was a teacher for many years.

This promises to be a very interesting talk.  Places will be limited, so if you're interested in attending, contact Niall Corcoran (087 983 4287) as soon as possible.
