Team Spotlight - Under 15 Ladies Football

The 2007 U15 ladies football group has over 75 players split between three squads. It has been a great achievement of all the coaches involved with the group over the years that the numbers have grown from 48 registered players at u8 to the current number of 75 playing at u15.

There are approx. 16 coaches looking after the three squads plus great support from the parents in each of the squads. We start the year 2022 with the three teams competing in divisions 1,4 and 8.

The players are very much looking forward to Feile which is due to take place on the weekend of April 23rd. All players have been measured and club tracksuits and club kitbags have been ordered. It will be great to have Feile back after a tough two years of covid and all the sports that the girls have missed.

Talking of sports a number of the girls in the 2007 group continue to participate in other sports outside of football which is great to see, including camogje, hockey, basketball, soccer, waterpolo.
