U12's Attend Dublin Senioir Ladies Training Session

On Wednesday 17 April, the U12 Ladies  Team were invited out by Dublin Ladies Senior Manager, Mick Bohan to watch the Dublin Ladies senior training session in DCU as they prepared for their National League semi-final encounter with Cork on Sunday 21 April. A bus was hired and the group (35 strong) headed off from Glenalbyn at 5.45pm in great anticipation of what they were going to see during the session. We arrived in DCU about 6.45pm , the training session started at 7.00pm and finished up about 8.40pm. Many of the girls commented on how competitive the session was with no quarter being given by anyone. After the session the girls got to get some autographs and photos with the Dublin players and our very own Aoife Kane spent considerable time chatting to the girls. We left DCU about 9.15pm and arrived back to Glenalbyn at 10pm. A great couple of hours for everyone involved and it seemed to make a big impression on many of the girls.
