This league 5 game was played on a beautiful Sunday morning in near perfect hurling conditions. Both sides were a little slow to start. The home side dominated proceedings throughout but did not translate possession into scores on the board.

Victory for the home side was assured by a hardworking team performance and some superb second half hurling and scores by Dara O’Gallchobhair. The encounter was enriched by a late cameo from the evergreen Dave Canny, in an unaccustomed middle of the field role.
