Senior B's overcome Peregrines

First victory in Championship for Crokes

Cross city traffic on a wet Friday evening.... Not an ideal crowd puller! However, the hosts were vocally supported from the comfort of their magnificant covered stand.

A high scoring first half saw Crokes take a comfortable lead, while Peregrines struggled to impose themselves on the game. Tom clarke was in flying form, scoring 1-04 from play. First half finished 0-03 to 1-12 in favour of the visitors.

In the second half Crokes took the foot of the pedal somewhat. although they did have some skillful pasaages of play, they failed to convert their dominance into scores. Crokes did score a total of six points in the second half, while Peregrines rallied coming towards the final whistle, but to no avail.

Final score Kilmacud Crokes 1-18, Peregrines 0-10.

An important win to keep their Championship alive.
