Kilmacud welcome Crossmaglen Rangers to All Irl Sevens!
All is set for a great day at the Kilmacud/Oneills.com All Ireland Football Sevens on Saturday (19th Sept). Even the weather is looking good! The group fixtures are now on view on our special Sevens web-site (click on 7s logo at top of screen to access). Any last minute changes will be updated there immediately. Similarly, results from all 82 games will be posted on the site within minutes of games finishing and league tables will be updated automatically.
The most interesting development over the past few days has been the arrival of Crossmaglen Rangers (Armagh) into Group 4. We're delighted to welcome Cross, our opponents in Croke Park on St. Patricks Day, to the event. No doubt Oisin McConville and his colleagues will be hell-bent on claiming this particular All Ireland club title. Expect a hungry performance from them following their surprise exit from the Armagh championship recently, having been champions there for an incredible 13 years in a row! However, with St Galls back to defend their crown and many former winners and other marvellous clubs present, this will be one tall order!
Make sure you get to check the action at one or more of the 4 venues being used in Stillorgan. If you can't make it and want to monitor your team's progress just check the Sevens web-site, confirm the venue being used and click on the relevant venue-specific Live Tracker links below:
