We might even get a match report from each team courtesy of the Submit Content option on the menu bar?! Should any supporter be unsure of directions to away venues why not check the pitch locator in the Links section (or click here)? As you can tell from below, our Junior A boys are all set as I'm sure the others are so .... lets be hearing you in support of all the Crokes lads!!
Following on from their 2nd round win away from home against St. Finians, Kilmacud Crokes AFL4 team face a tricky tie against Fingal Ravens to make it into the last 4 of the Junior A Championship. While the lads are unbeaten so far this year in all competitions, recent college exam commitments and injuries from the previous rounds have hampered their preparations but nonetheless they are hoping to reach the last 4 for the second time in three years. Fingal Ravens on the other hand are motoring very well in the League with only one loss and a solid Cup campaign already under way. They are also boosted by the fact that their senior team has yet to appear in the Senior Championship this year so an extended panel will be at their disposal. Either way, it promises to be a close encounter as only 4 points separated these teams earlier in the year. It was a game where Fingal Ravens can count themselves unlucky not to have won as Kilmacud's goalkeeper Robbie Davis took most of the plaudits with a host of superb saves. So with both teams eagerly awaiting this clash, the Crokes lads would be delighted to see some purple and gold on the steps of Páirc de Búrca cheering them on. Throw in is at 7.15pm on Tuesday, 11 May 2010 in Glenalbyn. Best of luck to all the players involved and of course to their management team of Marcus, Jim, Diarmuid and Dave.
