FBD CONNAUGHT LEAGUE FINAL 2011 - GAELIC PARK NEW YORK

The 2011 FBD Connaught League Final was staged recently in Gaelic Park, New York between New York and Mayo. The game was played out in a sweltering 85 degrees with Mayo running out as comfortable winners - see report here.

Sean Fox Kilmacud Crokes member, DIT Sigerson selector, Dublin Junior Manager & FBD Insurance Broker Manager presented the Trophy to the winning Captain & DIT Player Aiden O'Shea. The Mayo team also included other DIT Players Alan Freeman, Kevin McLoughlin, Tom Parsons & Tom Cuniffe which made Sean's trip all the more pleasing.

Sean is hoping that the Mayo/DIT bonding that occurred in New York (we need to know more!) will aid their quest for Sigerson honours in 2012 .... a culchie at heart, that's our Seán.  Keep up the sterling work!!
