WICKLOW 200 CYCLING FUNDRAISER OUTCOME

Congrats to the 20 Kilmacud Crokes GAA club members who participated in the Wicklow 100km/200km events (see list of cyclists below). It was an extremely difficult challenge, given the distance, terrain & the exceptional heat on the day. Everybody (eventually) got around the extremely difficult circuit --- over 5 hours from start to finish for the five 100km cyclists and just under 11 hours for the 200km group (of 15). Main thing is that everybody got back home safe & sound!

The main objective of the cycle was to help raise funds for the Football Section and we now need your help with this. Please return any cards & sponsorship money to any of the following: Dave Byrne  (087 2385488),  Tommy Mannion (087 2462593),  Gerry  "Bomber " Greene (086 2523304),  Frank Rutledge (087 2653653) or Hugh Campbell (086 8106845). Alternatively leave it in an envelope, marked for any of the above,  behind the bar.

We have secured great support & encouragement throughout the Club for this important event and we thank you for your generosity.
