CIAN AND SAM VISIT SCOIL SAN TREASA

Cian and Sam Maguire visit Scoil San Treasa on November 11th 2013.

Cian is a past pupil of the school and had his first experience of Croke Park when playing on the school Hurling team in the Cumann na mBunscol Final. Indeed, it was a very fitting occasion on Monday last as Cian presented the boy's football team with their winning medals from their recent win in Croke Park. The football team won the Final of 'Corn Chumann na nGael' on Tuesday November 5th.  He also gave out some special awards for ladies football as well as the junior and senior boys football teams.  There were 3 awards for each group – player of the year, most improved player and a merit award.
