2015 7s Main Competition - Borris-Ileigh winners again.

Borris-Ileigh win their 6th 7's. Photos, match video and victory speech added!

In excellent conditions a strong 32 team competition served up a feast of eye-catching hurling in and around Glenalbyn. Tipperary teams featured strongly no more so than eventual winners Borris-Ileigh, reiterating their specialty at 7's hurling.

The completion of the round-robin in 8 venues saw 4 Tipp Teams, and 1 Team from Clare, Galway, Kilkenny and Dublin make the quarter-finals in Pairc de Burca, Glenalbyn.

At this stage Clares's Eire Og eliminated last year's finalists Portroe in the first quarter-final. Borris-Ileigh showed their credentials in dispatching a fancied Dicksboro. Hosts Kilmacud Crokes defeated Galway's Beagh and Castleiney won their derby with Templemore.

In the semi-finals Borris proved too strong for Eire Óg and Crokes - 2014 winners - lost a close tussle with Loughmore-Catleiney.

In a high scoring final Borris-Ileigh bettered Loughmore-Castleiney.
