U9's do well in Waterford, 9 Sept 06

The U9 hurlers had another very successful trip to the hurling heartlands and came back with a 100% record from the Roanmore 7-a-side tournament in Waterford at the weekend.

Two teams travelled on Saturday morning and were both placed in very strong groups, an indication of Kilmacud Crokes' standing in juvenile hurling these days. One team beat Middleton (Cork), Dicksboro (Kilkenny) and Roanmore (Waterford), while the other team also beat Middleton and Dicksboro, as well as De La Salle (Waterford).
