Junior B – Doyle Cup V Cuala

The Junior B started their official 2007 hurling campaign against near neighbours Cuala on Wednesday evening in Silverpark. Following a very dominant first half display by Cuala, who contained a fair sprinkling of their senior panel, Crokes trailed by 10 points.

But with a much better 2nd half display by Crokes, backed with a fighting spirit & some extra timber, plus a hat-trick of goals from Jimmy Byrne, the margin was reduced to 5 points at the final whistle.
