Crokes win Dublin Féile Final
The Under 14 hurlers brought the first trophy of the year to Glenalbyn following their 2-9 to 0-2 victory over Ballyboden in the Féile na nGael final played in Parnell Park on Saturday 17th May 2008. This was as comprehensive a victory as the scoreline suggests and was the club’s second Dublin title. Many congratulations to the boys, their families and the mentors on their well earned success. Under 16’s defeat Lucan Sarsfields
Earlier on Saturday afternoon the under 16’s beat Lucan in Silverpark on a 3-9 to 1-10 scoreline. Among the Crokes stars were Oisín O Gallchobhair, Niko Salvino, James O Keeffe and Gary Melican. For report and photos, click HERE or on camera below.
Under 15’s fall to Lucan
On Sunday the under 15’s travelled to Lucan for a league game and went down by six points. This was a spirited display by a game Crokes side and with a little more luck could have been a lot closer. The Crokes defensive unit was superb throughout and the difference between the sides was an early run of scores for the home team when the Kilmacud boys had the wind advantage. The final score read 1-7 to 0-4.

Junior Team action
Also on Sunday both Junior teams were in championship action. In Glenalbyn the Junior B’s were unlucky not to come away with at least a share of the spoils when going down by a single point, 2-9 to 2-8 to Craobh Chiaran. Best for Crokes were Richie Tighe in goals, Ken Noctor at wing back, Brian Sheehan and Niall Butler. In Silverpark the Junior C3’s were unable to match a stronger, fitter and faster Parnells side notwithstanding good displays from Hugh Liston, Niall McIntyre, John McCarthy, Gavin Hyland and Ian O’Keeffe. The same two teams were in league action on Tuesday, both entertaining Na Fianna. In Silverpark the Junior C3’s won 2-6 to 0-10 while the Junior B’s went down 3-11 to 2-8 in Glenalbyn.
Midweek Senior and Intermediate action
On Wednesday evening the seniors hosted Craobh Chiaran and came out the wrong end of a 0-17 to 1-9 scoreline. At the same time and venue the Intermediates lost to Castleknock by 2-14 to 2-7. Both games were played in Silverpark for images of these matches click HERE or on the camera below
Colleges Action
On Tuesday Colaiste Eoin defeated Laois Colleges in the Leinster under 14 semi final while on Thursday the Dublin Colleges South under 14 side lost out to St Kieran’s College in their Leinster semi-final after an epic game. On both occasions several Crokes players featured

Under 7 League
The Under 7 league got off to an exciting start on Thursday and continues on Thursdays in the Paddock. Matches start at 18:30 and will finish by 19:00. All hurlers must bring their own hurley and helmet. There are a limited number of spare helmets available.
