Dublin Hurling - Bumper Week in Prospect
A bumper hurling period lies ahead for both Dublin and Kilmacud Crokes Hurling.
All support would be greatly appreciated by the players involved.
Wednesday 14th July @ 7.15pm in Parnell Park
Dublin attempt to capture their second Leinster under 21 title in four years when they face Wexford in the final. Kilmacud Crokes has six players on the Dublin panel (Conor Clinton, Rory O Carroll, Kevin O Loughlin, Robert O Loughlin, Barry O Rorke, and Ronan Walsh) with an unprecedented four players starting. The team is managed by another Crokes clubman, Richie Staeklum.
This a great opportunity to showcase to our young players what Crokes Hurlers can achieve.
Saturday 17th July @ 3pm in Croke Park
Dublin senior hurlers take on Antrim in Phase 2 of the All-Ireland qualifier series with an Al-Ireland quarter final place the prize for the winners. Crokes Hurling Coach Niall Corcoran will feature for the Dubs.
There are also plenty of club fixtures in the offing (see below) and a Table Quiz in the Club Bar on Friday 16th organised by the senior hurlers
At 7.30 the senior hurlers play St. Vincents in Silverpark in their second last league game of 2010. This is a week before the next championship match (currently set for Saturday 24th in Silverpark v O’Tooles). After the match all are welcome to attend a table quiz in the club bar which will be an opportunity for everybody across the club, family and friends to meet and have a light hearted few hours. All are encouraged to attend – tables can be made up on the night or bring a crew. Meet in the club bar at 9pm for 9.30pm start. Spot prizes for a raffle are welcome. Proceeds to the injury fund.
