2007 Football Group U15 Feile Div 8 Winners

The U15 Crokes girls won the Div 8 football Feile title after 5 fantastic and committed performances over the weekend.
Conceding no goals in 3 of our 5 games was always going to give us a chance allied to some great goals being scored by our forwards.

Clontarf, Na Fianna and Cuala were all beaten in the group, all by the tightest of margins. We had a convincing win in semi final v St Brigids

In the final we faced a St Finians side who had not been beaten in 20 months. To make matters harder this final had been fixed for Finians home ground in Newcastle.

The girls saved their best performance of the weekend for the final winning out 3-4 to 0-6 against a battling Finians team.
All 24 players got to see some action in the final which was pleasing.
Thanks to all the mentors, parents, organisers in Silverpark on Saturday and most importantly our wonderful players.
Special mention to our co captains Olivia and Megan who led by example.
