Death Notice Marie Maher RIP

It is deep regret and sadness that the club has learned of the passing of Marie Maher.  The Maher family have been associated with our club since the very beginning. Marie’s mother Maura and late father Michael both gave their huge commitment and hard work to our community in our founding years. We send our sympathy at this sad time to David, Aoibheana and Etain and to our friends Maura, Evelyn, Ann, Noreen, Geraldine, Helen and Dermot. Dermot is known to us as a star footballer over many years both for our club and for Dublin and now is now an active KCWheelers cyclist and is involved in the newly formed Kilamcud Community Men's Shed.  Funeral details below :

MAHER, Marie – (Harold’s Cross, Dublin and formerly of Kilmacud). Died on 13th May 2023 (peacefully) at Leeson Park Nursing Home. Beloved wife of David Hobson and much loved mother of Aoibheana and Etain. Predeceased by her father Michael. Deeply regretted by her husband, daughters, mother Maura, sisters Evelyn, Ann, Noreen, Geraldine, Helen and brother Dermot; mother-in-law Valerie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday evening 16th May between 5pm and 8pm. Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday afternoon 17th May at 2.30pm in The Victorian Chapel, at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98.
