Kilmacud Crokes is saddened to hear of the passing of Kevin Hoyne. Kevin played Senior Hurling with the club in the 80s. He also played with Dublin. Kevin was on the Kilmacud Crokes team that regained Senior Status in 1982 by winning the Intermediate Championship and League Double. May he rest in peace. Funeral details below :

HOYNE, Kevin, late of Churchtown and the Rathcoole Inn, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, on 22 August 2024. Beloved husband of Carmel, and loving father to Mícheál, Patrick, Ciarán, Caoimhe, Cian and the late Tomás. Pre-deceased by his sister Catherine, Kevin will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, children, his siblings Michael, Miriam, Tish, John and Paul, his nieces and nephews, all his extended family, neighbours, friends, and the staff and customers of the Rathcoole Inn.

Kevin’s funeral will take place on Monday afternoon, 26 August, at 2.30pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. All enquiries to Larry Massey Funeral Directors, Rathfarnham, at (01)4061000.
