Punchestown 2013 - Another Roaring success!

Kilmacud Crokes Hurling Section Race Day one of the best yet!

Once again the Hurling Section Punchestown Race Day was blessed with good weather, as more than 600 guests packed the private Punchestown Pavilion, right beside the last fence!

The punters were treated to some excellent racing (including Sprinter Sacre winning once again!), excellent food and great entertainment. Among the special guests on the day were Brent Pope, Eddie O'Sullivan, Michael Lyster, Cyril Farrell, Babs Keating, Mr and Mrs Michael Carruth, Ciaran Whelan and many others. To top it all President Michael D Higgins made a special visit and accepted a Club jersey as a memento of his visit.

The day was expertly managed throughout by MC - renowned sports broadcaster - Robbie Irwin.
