TEAM SPOTLIGHT - 2008 Under 14 Camogie

Many of the twenty-seven girls in the 2008 U14 camogie squad have been clashing hurls together since their first days in the Crokes nursery way back in 2014.  Other players have been warmly welcomed into the group in the years since then and the squad now has representation from eight different schools.

For this 2022 season, the group is fielding two teams – one playing in U14 division 1 and a second combined U14-U15 team competing in U15 division 6.  The girls are excited to be back out on the pitch again after an enjoyable first season of competitive camogie in 2021, which included a league and championship double in U13 division 1.

The players have great support from their parents, about 10 of whom are the mentors for the group.
