CROKES TRIUMPH IN MINOR LEAGUE FINAL (DIV 4A)

Kilmacud Minor Bs suffered their only loss in the League to Nh Iosolde in May and were determined to put that right in this League decider. Nh Iosolde had the advantage of the wind in the first half and went into an early 1-2 to nought lead before Kilmacud opened their account. However with great determination and teamwork, Kilmacud fought back and reduced the margin to trail 0-3 to 1-3 at half-time.

In the second half, Kilmacud had the advantage of the wind and following a tough contest equalised in the last few minutes. Both sides had opportunities to close out the match, however Kilmacud sealed victory from a free in the last moments of injury time.

Final score: Kilmacud 1-5, Nh Iosolde 1-4.
