Feile Division 1 Update
With three wins from their three group games the Crokes under 14A’s qualified top of their Feile Division 1 group on Saturday 14th May 2011. The group games were held in SIlverpark where a wind that varied from mild to strong came from the Sunshine Home end.
In their opener against Lucan Sarsfields the Kilmacud lads held a 1-3 to 0-1 interval advantage and went on to win by 1-7 to 0-4.

Next up were Naomh Barrog who had gone down to Ballyboden in their first game. Playing against the advantage the Kilbarrack lads went into a 1-1 to 0-1 lead after seven minutes. A strong finish put the locals 2-6 to 2-2 clear as the short whistle sounded. Barrog took the fight to Crokes in the second half. At one stage there were just two points in it before late scores saw the Kilmacud team home 3-10 to 2-5.

Ballyboden, who had lost their second match to Lucan, were nthe final group opposition. It was level at half time, 1-4 apiece. An improved second half display was enough to secure a 5-7 to 1-8 victory in a game where the skies broke for a period.

Crokes now face Cuala in the semi final at Silverpark on Sunday morning 15th May 2011 with an 11.00 throw in.
