Victory for Minor A's v Vincents

The Minor A's played their last round robin match on Sunday 4 November 2012 in Silverpark.

The match against St. Vincents was played following a torrential downpour, which made conditions very difficult.

Crokes were first to score, when Mark scored a 70. This was followed by the first of Caolan's 7 points and a long range effort from Cian MacGabhann. We let Vincents back into it with the concession of a goal and from there to the break it was tit for tat, with points from Caolan and Cian again and Oisin levelled scores just before the short whistle. Half time: Crokes 0-06, St Vincents 1-03.

Crokes came out fighting at the start of the second half with 7 unanswered points, including some lovely scores from Ross, Oisin and Caolan. This put some light between the teams and we traded points thereafter with scores from KJ and Conor. Our defence stood firm when Vins went for goals, ably led by James and Odhran, to leave the final score Kilmacud Crokes 0-16, St Vincents 1-06.
