Spotlight on the Minor B Ladies Football Team 2022

The Ladies Minor B team are largely in their 1st year of the 2 year bracket, play in League 6 and have just finished in joint 2nd place having made it to the Championship final last year. Most of the team have been together since their first day in the Paddock on September 17th 2011.

We have 25 players and 7 in the coaching group. The team spirit is phenomenal and the Players enjoy each other's company whether it’s games, training or socialising afterwards.

Just like any proper “Mafia” no one leaves and if they try they get dragged back, it’s been yonks since anyone quit. We’ve seen both sides over the years, great victories, many finals but also the loss of our beloved Mick Fallon, he’s never far from our thoughts and we try to do him proud.

This year's Championship starts at the end of August, and we'll be training all summer. 

One of these years we’ll stop being the bridesmaids and bring home the Cup. We don’t mind the wait, we’re having great craic. We know that we are lucky to have each other agus Ní neart go cur le chéile.
