Tipp’s Brendan Maher visits Crokes U9’s

The U9 hurlers had a real treat over the weekend, when they were visited by Tipperary’s Brendan Maher during a training session in UCD on Saturday morning.

The Borrisoleigh star imparted some great words of wisdom and insight into the life of a dedicated inter-county hurler and answered lots of deep and searching questions from the attentive audience! The boys were also shown video highlights of Brendan in action, along with some of Crokes’ own recent hurling achievements. There was also an entertaining video of club coach (and Dublin star) Niall Corcoran, as he tried to score against, well… his toys!

Afterwards, with the help of another of Crokes' senior stars Dillon Mulligan, Brendan led a number of training exercises out on UCD’s excellent playing facilities.
