U10's and U11's weekend action

Under 11's

KC1 & KC3 were away to Naomh Barrog.......both teams won well with KC1 having the tougher encounter in a closely contested game.

KC2 & KC4 were both in Stepaside against Naomh Mearnog. KC2 were edged out in a game where Naomh Mearnog were superior in the physical challenges whereas the KC4 team had a good victory in a well match contest.

 
Under 10 KC2 v Na Fianna - Deerpark


KC2 had a good outing against Na Fianna today. All three teams won in well contested games. The first team under the management of John Maguire contained Luke Ward, Darren Crowley, Jack Power, Kieran Maguire, Rory Garvey, Ciaran Sweeney and Joseph McBreen. Plenty of good passing and accurate shooting from the lads enabled Crokes to pull away in the second half.
 
The second team managed by Dermot Crowley contained Charistoper McCann, Hugh Moran, Jacques De Patoul, Cian Ryan, Sean Harty, Sean Purcell, Cal Rohan and Mark McHugh. Crokes played into a strong wind in the first half and battled well to be one point up at the break. The lads used the wind well in the second half and worked good scores as opposed to trying long shots with the wind. Crokes pulled away in that half with accurate shooting.
 
The third team under the management of Brendan Sweeney contained Conan Hargaden, Joe Quinlan, Luke O Loughlin, Conor McCarthy, David Langley, Kevin Smith and Oisin Farrington. This was a very close encounter and Crokes battled hard to secure a hard fought win.
