Match Report and Highlights:

On Saturday 23rd July the under 11’s travelled to Galtymore Road where they took on Ballinteer St John’s, Crumlin and the host side, Good Counsel..  Three very good performances saw the Crokes boys prevail 3-0 to 0-0, 4-0 to 0-0 and 4-1 to 2-0 respectively.

Conor O’Dwyer and Conor O’Byrne who interchanged as goalkeepers were sound throughout both in nets and outfield.  Barry Kane and James Murphy were steadiness personified in the full back line.  Oisin O’Rorke controlled the half back area ably abetted by Hugh Gowing who hit some wonderful ball.  Midfielders Philip O’Shea and Louis O’Sullivan were in great form at midfield.  Barry Horan scored his first goal for Crokes at half forward and then went on to score another three.  Not to be outdone were full forwards Conal McCluskey and Tomas Barry who bagged two and three goals respectively.
