Week ended 4 June 2007
Tuesday 29th May 2007 brought the finale of the local national schools competition in Glenalbyn. Run over three consecutive Tuesdays for boys in the 8-9 age bracket the event was designed to further contact between the club and local schools. Well over 200 boys participated and we look forward to seeing the fruits of the endeavour in the coming months. Report to follow.
More Cumann na mBunscol success!
In Parnell Park on Wednesday Scoil San Treasa defeated Scoil Moibhi 8-4 to 0-2 in the Cumann na mBunscoil Corn Mhic Phiarais (Division 5) final. Many congratulations to manager Brian Cadigan and all concerned. For report see HERE

Minors win
On Wednesday evening the minor hurlers travelled to Magee Park to play St Marks in the first game of the Summer League. With star performances from Conor Caulfield, Eoin McArthur and Brian Hanamy and Crokes came away with a 2-18 to 0-6 win.
Dublin U21’s
Also on Wednesday evening Ross O’Carroll (0-2) and Shane O’Rorke helped Dublin to a 2-12 to 2-7 win over Kildare in the Leinster under 21 championship at Clane. Unfortunately Shane had to retire with a broken collar bone and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Under 10’s
Monday 4th June 2007 saw the under 10’s bring a party of thirty one to Rosslare to play St Mary’s. The visitors emerged victorious in the two games played and many thanks to our hosts for looking after to us so well. Apart from the games one of the highlight was a conducted tour by Liam Griffin of St Mary’s splendid new complex.

Progress continues apace on our new Hurling Arena in Glenalbyn see HERE . When complete this €500,000 project will be a huge addition to hurling in the club.
Hurling Nursery
Saturdays see the continuation of outdoor nursery activity at Glenalbyn. This continues every Saturday at 10.00 am for children born 1999 or later.
