Savills Race Day - December 28th 2019

The annual football section fund-raiser Christmas race day was held on Saturday December 28th in Leopardstown Race course.  This was the ninth running of this event and it followed in the tradition of previous years in being a great day out.  What was called the Lexus Chase day is now called the Savills chase day with the change to a new sponsor. The weather was kind to us with no frost or rain.  Tony Kelly was once again our excellent compere and tipster for the day. It was great to have 2 of our Crokes and Dublin All Ireland Ladies Football medal winners Eabha Rutledge and Aoife Kane in attendance and  to help facilitate our raffle.  Many thanks to all those who supported the event either from a corporate perspective or coming along and purchasing tables with friends and especially to all those who generously sponsored and donated prizes for the raffle.
