Blues for B's in Bogies, as Brady's Barrs bounce back after the break to beat Crokes by 7
11 point lead squandered as Crokes buckle under Barrs 2nd half pressure
Bitterly cold day in the Bogies for the Senior B Hurling Championship semi final.
Crokes took advantage of the wind in the first half and were 2-08 to 0-03 to the good at the short whistle, with goals scored by Alex Pilkington and Ciaran McIntyre.
Second half was a complete turnaround in every sense, as relentless Barrs pressure - and an inability to convert the few chances that came Crokes' way - saw the home side slowly but surely eat into the big half time lead, eventually forging ahead and ultimately winning by a margin of 7 points, including a slightly fortuitous goal scored by "Trollier" (Eamonn Dillon) Crokes managed only two points during the second half.
