Semi Final Tymon Park

KC vs Na Fianna

Final Score: KC 0-6 Na Fianna 2-6

Kilamcud started brightly with a good point from Luke Ward, Na Fianna responded quickly with a pointed free before Colm Crean replied with a pointed free of his own.  Na Fianna were driving hard at the centre of Crokes defence and got their reward with a goal, they followed with a quick point before Crokes responded with two more points.  After that Na Fianna dominated scoring in the half with three unanswered points, two from frees to lead 1-6 to 0-5 at the interval.  Kilmacud started the second half strongly but Na Fianna scored a breakaway goal after 7 minutes to go 7 points clear.  Tired bodies showed more on the Kilmacud side, who lost Cian Ryan and Conor Hughes to injuries.  Despite a strong showing and good performances throughout the side Kilmacud were only able to add one more point to the scoreboard at the end.

Kilmacud scorers: Luke Ward 0-1, Colm Crean 0-1 (F), Sean Purcell 0-2, Joseph McBreen 0-1

It was an excellent showing from the Kilmacud squad who all played their part in the four games.  Unfortunately, tiredness impacted Crokes more than Na Fianna who in the end deservedly won the semi-final to face Faughs Sunday in Parnell Park.  All players can reflect on four great games, where the entire squad gave their all and were a credit to themselves and their club on and off the pitch.

Squad: Fionn Boyd , Patrick  Corbett, Colm Crean, Darren Crowley, Darragh Geraghty, Darragh Harrison, Conor Hughes, Oisin Kirwan, Ciarán MacEacháin, Kieran Maguire, Joseph McBreen, Christopher McCann, Hugh Moran, Jordan Mynes, Breandán O'Connell, Barra O'Donoghue, Luke O'Loughlin, Rory O'Mahony, Alex O'Meara, Jack Power (injured), Sean Purcell, Cian Ryan, Luke Ward
