4 point victory against 14 man Vincent's

Crokes started the brighter, registering four points to Vincent's 2, before the northsiders went ahead courtesy of a goal by Tom Connolly after 12 minutes. However, it didn't take Crokes long to bounce back with a well taken goal by Fergal Whitely five minutes later. Crokes held the lead from then until the final whistle, leading by 3 points at half time, 1-10 to 1-07.

Although Vincent's upped the ante at the beginning of the second half  they failed to close the gap. Indeed they might well have drawn level were it not for a brilliant goal-line block by Niall Corcoran. Their cause was not helped when they were reduced to 14 men - Cathal Billings sent off with 10 minutes left. Crokes did particularly well in scores from play on the night, with a tally of 1-11.

With Cuala beating Ballinteer St. Johns well in the other group match, this leaves Crokes sitting just behind their Dalkey rivals going into the final group match.
