Under 8's Intercounty blitz Sunday 27th May Parc De Burca

The U8's held their first intercounty blitz last Sunday (27th May) in Glenalbyn with over 320 kids across 8 different clubs participating on the day. The teams included Walterstown and Senchelstown from Meath, Laragh United and Ramor United from Cavan , Newbridge Sarsfileds from Kildare and Ballymun Kickhams, Castleknock and St. Sylvesters from Dublin. 

The level of skill and commitment on the day from all clubs was excellent with each team playing 3 games. The weather was against us a little bit, but that didn't stop us showing off what our club is about with tremendous hospitality shown to our 8 visiting clubs. 

All the boys got to meet Sam Maguire on the day and left with a medal which added to the occasion. We would like to extend our thanks to all the parents and coaches who gave up their time to help out on the day.
