Death Notice Mary SHOVLIN (née McKeown) RIP

The Kilmacud Crokes community is saddened to hear of the passing of Mary Shovlin.  Mary is mum to longtime club member and stalwart John Shovlin.  John is a member of the current Football Committee. Over the years he has played for the club, managed teams  and played leadership roles across  club committees.  John is married to Karen who has volunteered tirelessly in support of the club.  Their boys JJ, Sam and Ben have all played for the club with ben being a current member of the senior football team.   We offer our condolences and sympathies to John,Karen and all the extended Shovlin family as this sad time. SHOVLIN (née McKeown) (Glenageary and late of Granitefield, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and Fintown, Co. Donegal) – August 11th 2022 (peacefully) Mary; dearly beloved wife of the late Paddy, devoted grandmother of the late Thomas and predeceased by her sister Nancy and brother Josie, much loved mother of Mary, John, Paddy, Conor and Ken. Sadly missed by her loving daughter, sons, daughters-in-law Karen, Julie, Yvette and Paula, son-in-law Terry, grandchildren Niall, Ali, Kevin, J.J., Sam, Ben, Julian, Andrew, Robyne, Sarah, Conor, Jane, Amy and Chloe, great-grandson David, sister Breda, brothers Declan, John and Brendan, extended family and friends.

Committal service on Saturday (August 13th) at 11am at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
