Death Notice Dermot HYLAND RIP

Kilmacud Crokes is saddened to hear of the death of Dermot Hyland.  Dermot is father to club member Gavin  and grand-dad to David ( U19 hurling), Ruth (U16 Camogie / Football) and Niamh who plays U14 Camogie. Gavin won a Junior championship with the club.  We send our collective sympathies and condolences to the Hyland family at this sad time. May Dermot rest in peace.

Hyland Dermot (Jeremiah John) Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and Killorglin, Co. Kerry. On 27th October, 2022, peacefully at St James’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Formerly, Bank of Ireland. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Mary Hyland. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret (née Farrell). Father to Mark, Ian and Gavin, and brother to Sheila. Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Chao, Grace and Andrea. Loving and much loved grandfather to Emily, Chris, David, Ruth and Niamh. Also sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. In keeping with his generous spirit, Dermot donated his body to medical science, UCD.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St Michael’s Church, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin at 12 Noon on Friday, 4th November, 2022.
