Death Notice Michael Coakley RIP

The Kilmacud Crokes Club community is saddened to hear of the passing of Michael Coakley. Michael is father to club member Kevin Coakley. Kevin's children have all played with the club.  Kevin himself  played Senior, Intermediate and Junior hurling with the club aswell as Intermediate and Junior football. He has coached and managed at all levels in hurling from nursery up to Senior B.  Kevin is currently managing the 2nd adult camogie team. He is also a keen cyclist with KCWheelers.  Michael enjoyed many trips up to Dublin and  attending club games.   We extend our condolences and sympathies to Kevin on the passing of his dad and to all the extended Coakley family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.  Funeral details below :

MICHAEL COAKLEY (Gortacrue and Main Street Midleton, formerly of Drimoleague), on 7th April 2024 peacefully at Cork University Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Mairead. Loving father to Kevin, Michael and the late Brendan, brother to Kathleen and the late Neilie, John, Mary, Donal, Rita, Birdie, and Timmy.

Deeply mourned by his sons, sister, daughters-in-law Jay and Melanie, grandchildren Daniel, Meagan, Macklin, Michael and Luke, all of his extended family, relatives, kind neighbours and great friends.

May Michael Rest In Peace.

Michael will repose at Hyde's Funeral Home, Drury's Avenue, Midleton on Tuesday 9th from 7pm-830pm.

Reception into the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Wednesday 10th for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
