Punchestown 2026
Another Fantastic day for the Hurling Section at Punchestown!
It proved to be another thrilling day in Punchestown, as the Kilmacud Crokes hurling fraternity, wider club stalwarts, friends, supporters and sponsors, gathered for the 21st Hurling Section Raceday. In addition to great racing, a very pleasant meal and wonderful weather, there was the usual high fashion, raffles, prizes - and one of the most exciting auctions in years!
There was also a special auction in aid of the Dillon Quirke Foundation. For more on the auction - and the raffle result - click HERE.
A great friend of the Hurling Section Race Day, Michael Lyster, who sadly passed away recently, was remembered by his many friends in the Crokes Pavilion.

As usual at the Hurling Section Race Day, there were many great prizes and raffle items to be won. This year also had one of the most exciting auctions ever, ably and professionally overseen by master auctioneer Michael Regan, with several tables going to great lengths to acquire some of the great packages on offer.
