Camogie - News & Reports
Pairc De Burca is closed again due to the wet weather. U12/2001 training will go ahead in the hurling arena. Under 11/2002 training will go ahead on the off pitch area of the main pitch. Both of these group training will go ahead at 12 noon.
Registration will take place this Saturday, 9th February from 9am to 1pm in the Glenalbyn clubhouse. Please click on the Registration button to the left of this page for a camogie Information Leaflet & Registration Form.
Please note the training times & venues for this coming Saturday:
- Girls born in 2006/2005/2004 - Training will take place at 2pm (NOT 12pm) on the All Weather Pitch. The time change is for this Saturday ONLY.
Camogie Registration will take place this Saturday, 9th February from 9am to 1.30pm in the Glenalbyn club house. A registration evening will be held on Thursday, 14th February from 8pm to 9.30pm also in the club house.
Páirc de Búrca is closed tomorrow. Training will be as follows:
- U7/U8/U9/U10 groups - Training WILL GO AHEAD on the All- Weather Pitch.
- U11/ 2000 - Training is ON in the hurling arena (wear runners, NO BOOTS)
This is the first level coaching course held over 3 nights commencing 25 February 2013. Apart from the specifics of camogie/hurling it deals with player development, communications and how best to organise and retain attention of a group of children!
Due to the inclement weather conditions camogie training is cancelled for all age groups today, 19th January. Hopefully the weather will improve and we will be back as usual next Saturday.
Due to the inclement weather conditions, Pairc de Burca in Glenalbyn is closed. Training is therefore cancelled for the U10/U11 and U12 groups. The younger agegroups in the nursery still plan to go ahead on the All Weather pitch unless the rain keeps pouring down!
